Validity of an India Traditional Visa vs. India Electronic Visa (e-Visa)

A traditional tourist visa is often issued for 5 years or 10 years for U.S. citizens, and it usually allows multiple entries. However, each stay is typically limited to a maximum number of days per visit (commonly up to 180 days per visit for tourism, depending on the visa conditions).
